1992 temp. question

1992 temp. question

I just bought the car. It has a 160 degree thermostat in it. It normally runs about 185 degrees. Today while idling it went up to 203 degrees. When I started moving it went back to 185 degrees. I wasn't worried. My C5's fan used to come on at 226 degrees. What temp. does the fan turn on. I suspect the the fan doesn't come on until 125-126 degrees. Can the fans temp. be set via the computer. I reset my C5's fan turn on to 192.

203 is no problem. Fan 1 turns on at 228 and fan 2 turns on at 238, IIRC. Both fans turn on with the AC. It is possible to set custom on and off tems via custom tune.
