...on my 96 coupe (LT1) the power window switch on the passenger side looks like it held in place with some type of adhesive (underside). Nearly pops out in the heat. Is there a screw on the back side? What keeps it in place?

Thanks

IIRC it's held in by a clip. The fsm advises against prying it out. Recommends removing door panel to service.

..thanks

if removing the panel is required, I'll hold off. It's not a major deal, only noticed it a few times. Hardly use it.

Took the panel off the driver side to fix the ribs and putting it back on was not my idea of fun.

Yea, don't try and remove it from the outside or you'll wreck the inner panel if its like my 95. You have to removethe pannel and adjust the clip from behind to secure it more firmly
