Steering Rack Update
If you look at my other threads regarding the rebuilt steering rack that I bought from NAPA -the story goes:
1) I installed a rebuilt rack -found out after that I only had 1 3/4 rotations of the steering wheel lock to lock.
2) NAPA provided a replacement, which I checked on the bench and it had the same exact problem.
3) Called NAPA tech support, they confimed that it should be 2 rotations +/- 1/8. They called the rebuild facility and had them check another to be sure that it had 2 rotations and sent it to me -Via my local NAPA.
4) I bench tested it and it has almost exactly 2 rotations lock to lock.
So, this weekend I'll be changing out the rack!
