Default Rust Remover?
What is a good undercarriage rust remover that will work on steel suspension and driveline parts without damaging the surrounding aluminum components?

I'd try some PB Blaster (or similar generic) and a wire brush. I've never had a problem with PB damaging aluminum and it does break rust up.

Oorah for busting rust right before inspection.
