I will soon be in the market for a four post lift. I pretty well have decided I want a Back Yard Buddy. Has anyone had or does anyone know of any problems with this lift. Are there any HORROR stories I need to know about? I am aware of the recent PerfectPark lift collapse. That hasn't convinced me not to get a four post lift.
I looked at the back yard buddy but I bought a superior lift out of arizona. They included wheels and 2 jack trays and shipping I have been real happy with it. What is the incident you were refering to with the collapse? My biggest problem besides the poor instructions was learning to trust it. Whatever you decide on they are worth every penny.
My buddy has the Backyard Buddy. It is a very well built lift, unlike the un-perfict park. Once I build a bigger garage I will be getting a Backyard Buddy. You get what you pay for so buy the best made not cheapist.
I checked out the literature and videos, and bought an Eagle lift. 220v motor/pump; risers inside the columns; free shipping to my door; steel ramps (alum optional); sliding steel jack tray...
I haven't once regretted it. Only thing I would do different is get the alum ramps...Steel is heavy...
But I plan on welding "hinges" to the ramps so I can just fold them up & down...
You might want to give them a call... 800-336-2776

This has been bugging me for awhile now. What does that mean "TTT"? I Thought I knew a fair amount of internet slang, but when I read a thread and someone posts "TTT" I think, what the *?^& does that mean?
