Installed a 3.75 ring and pinion and...
I hit the 1/8 mile track last night and found I had picked up almost 2 tenths in E.T. and 3 MPH! I went from a speed of 81 to 82 mph to 85 plus and my best ET was 8.213. This was with a full tank of gas! With a little more caressing of the tune, I think it will do at least another tenth faster, as it isn't totally dialed in yet!
(Mod's so far)
(383 stroker, w/ .230- .230 -480-480 lsa 108 cam, Hedman long tube headers, stock heads, First Injection TPI system, 32 lb bosch III injectors, beefed 700R-4 with BM shift kit, nitto drag radials.
Like most C-4's my remaining problem is still with the radiator and climbing temperatures. I replaced the radiator with another new stock radiator less than a year ago, and check it frequently for debris.
Living in Florida in the summer brings daily temp's at 90 plus for months at a time. Running w/o the air on I have no problems as it will run at 210 to 215 degrees during the day, and 198 to 205 at night. But, when I turn on the air it slowly goes up to 225 and beyond and the stock compressor really pulls a lot of juice (electric) and horsepower from the motor. (I'm using a stock 195 degree thermostat.) I'm wondering if there is a compressor from another year Vette that might draw less HP and run cooler.
At any rate, I think I will switch to a better radiator soon.

With the air on mine runs 202-205 in 95 degree heat,I live in Tampa Fl.
I clean the rad out every few months and I'm running about a 65-70% antifreeze.I use Prestone anycolor, works great for me.
Wiyhout the air and the fan on mine runs about 200(I have a manual switch also),I don't like seeing 227-235 deg.TOO hot in my opinion.
I have a new Dewitts radiator in the box waiting for the 355 install (happening soon). The build quality is superb, its so damn pretty its going to be a shame to bury it in my engine compartment.
Anyway I bought it on the advice of many forum members here, there were all very happy with theirs.
What shape is your A/C condensor in? I pulled mine 1 1/2 years ago at the same time I pulled the radiator, and all-though it looked clean with a casual inspection, it was all most completely plugged with small items. I held it against the sun, and could not see much light getting through.
I spent several hours of blasting with air, water, simple green, and picking piece's out until it finally cleaned up.
Last summer while cruising, with air turned on, I ran 195f with outside temps 100-110f
your coil might look clean, but a closer inspection may show other wise.
just a thought....
Not only does it look terrific and work great, it fit correctly out of the box!
