Well, after consulting many different people, I'm 98% sure I know what is causing my vibrations.... I was driving around today and turned on the A/C and noticed the vibration got MUCH worse, so I was comparing my engine compartment to a buddy with a '96 CE and noticed that he has 3 brackets on his A/C - Alternator area stabalizing them to the block ... MINE DOESN'T! So I immediately went over to another buddy's place with a '94 to compare, and low and behold, he has them as well. My builder didn't put the brackets back on!!
And after talking with several of the guys from the xtreme club, they have had similar experiences. So I'm off to go buy the brackets tomorrow and I'll be sure to keep the reciept so I can take it to my builder so he'll have to foot the bill!
why? They will just say it was like that...
Hopefully in your case the shop is a good one that stands behind their work and mistakes unlike most.
Yep .. took about an hour but i got the braces back on, and i think my vibration is all gone! WOOHOO!! Wouldn't take so long if I had a breaker bar to use on the belt tensioner...
