hey guys i just bought my corvette and if my doors are locked and i unlock the drivers side door the alarm gos off but not from the passenger side any suggestions on what to do even if it means not having an alarm

When you say unlock you mean with a key right, and not reaching in the car and pushing the button...?
You probably have a bad disarm switch on the back of the lock cylinder or the wire is disconnected somewhere. The wire is dark green colored. Your gonna have to pull the door panel to check it out. Hopefully the wire is disconnected as the disarm switches are a little hard to find.
There is a wire harness with two wires connected to the back of the key lock cylinder. (Item 205 in the picture below).
When you turn the key to the unlock position, a green wire which is a disarm signal line that goes to the theft deterrent module gets connected to a black wire which goes to ground.

Try this before you get too involved. Works on mine. Just take the key and turn it throughout the full travel before you unlock door. What I am trying to say is turn the key to the lock door position before you turn it to the unlock position.
