My '93 LT-1 is running rough, and a couple of times in the last few weeks the engine had to crank for several seconds before it would start.
I wanted to test the fuel pressure, but the FSM doesn't say where to connect the tester. Where do I connect the fuel pressure gage?
In an effort to provide full disclosure I should mention that I rebuilt this engine last summer (4000 miles ago). Everything in the engine except the crank, block and rods have been replaced.
Under side of the passenger side fuel rail there is a valve (Schrader) that the test gauge will screw into. It looks a bit like a tire inflation stem. If you haven't bought your test gauge yet then I would recommend one with a discharge tube.
