Easy door panel fix
I am slowly but shurely fixing all the little things that are wrong with the 91 I picked up last winter.
Both door panels have pulled away at the rear upper portion of the door. When you close the door they flop.
I saw how to do this here recently but cannot find the post that uses this method.
I bought some brass corner braces at Ace Hardware. 1" X 1/2" in size.
You simply attach them with the 10mm bolt that holds the rear window felt bracket. I used some needle nosed vise grips to hold the bracket up while I attached the corner bracket. Here is what it looks like installed:
Simply lift the door panel over the bracket. You can easily bend the bracket a bit to make sure it is tall enough.
Finished. Took 10 minutes for both sides.
Very nice, now if I can find out where the rattle is coming from in the back of my vette while I cruise down the interstate. It's annoying after 100 miles in each direction.

You might want to look real close before you take the car out again!
Great job Ron! So many have devoted time to trying to fix the panel when this mod probly woulda done the trick. If my panel repair gives up I will try this.
