I found a set of heads I like. They are angle plug, not straight like I have now. Any problems with plugs wires with stock exhaust manifold. I will also do lt headers in the future when money permits. Thanks for the help.
Angle plugs make sense if you are going to headers. But make sure the headers are designed to work with angled. I bought a set of AFR heads and chose straight plugs because at the time I was planning on running stock exhaust manifolds. I then switched to TPiS headers and found some of the plugs were very difficult to get to and a couple plug wires were right against the headers. I had to make special sockets, install wire boots, you get the message.

, You have to do your homework to make sure everything is compatable when choosing headers and /or heads..When I installed my 383 with Dart Pro 1 heads into the car, my plan was to run stock exhaust manifolds and exhaust until I could afford a set of LT headers and true duals.. When I bolted the stock exhaust manifolds onto the Dart angle plug heads I discovered I couldn't get plugs into the heads, there just wasn't any room to put them in, not even short plugs..So do your homework....WW
I've read places that claim they come with angle plugs but my '85 has straight plugs too, I was wondering when I first did a plug change if somehow someone had just really really misthreaded them...
