What is the difference between the G44 - 3.07 Performance Axle, and the G92 - 3.07 Performance Axle?

Guess I was hoping that I had a Dana 44 in it. But since it's an Auto, I guess not huh?
1984 = Dana 36
1985 - 1996 Auto = Dana 36
1985 - 1996 Stick = Dana 44
No exceptions from the factory. :(
