Default Minimum air set procedure?

How do I do a minimum air set? I have an '89 Automatic with lots of mods (still have stock throttle body setup) and don't know where to look in the shop manual for the procedure.
Thanks!

Before you do anything else, lets figure the mods you have and whether the chip is set up for it correctly. If not, you might be chasing something forever.

I have a method I prefer. I set it by IAC counts. Get everything into closed loop and stabilized. Shut everything but the engine off. Attach scantool. See what the IAC counts are. Target is 15-20. After the idle speed is already commanded by the ECM.

If the counts are more than my target, it means the throttle blades are not open wide enough. That means I should open them more. Turn the idle speed adjustment screw in.

If the counts are less than my target, it means the throttle blades are open too wide. That means i should close them some. Turn the idle adjustment speed screw out.

Each time I make and adjustment, I rev the motor up and let it settle.

This assumes that the timing is spot on. Another big assumption is that the command idle speed is correct. Obviously, if it is not, it could be hard to set.

Never seen the screw move. If it's dirty, clean it. If there's an air leak somewhere else, replace the throttle body.
