Murphy's law on taps
The tap you need will be in the next sized kit.
when you finally find a store that sell individual taps in the size that you need, they will be out of stock.
well at least I picked up the hacksaw I needed.

And when you finally find the tap you need, you'll somehow, inexplicably, find a way to break it off in the hole you're trying to tap.
(that would be when Murphy's granddaddy shows up to join in the fun).
Live well,

And let us not forget Scottie, who sits on board the Enterprise in orbit and beams up all the tools, screws and bolts that seem to disappear right in front of our eyes!

Crap, Murphy had visited me every day this week. I'm expecting him by 09:00 AM today but, for sure he will be here no later than 4:30 PM.
Well, he showed up at 10:45 AM

And when you do finally find the right tap, the keg is warm and the beer has gone flat!

turns out Murphy's law also applies to wrenches and inverse torx bits.
Not enough room to get my extended socket on
Needed to go get a 24mm open wrench.
They don't sell inverse torx bits as singles
Needed to buy a $39 kit!
Better luck with my rear swaybar links
got the inserts milled down
all torqued down ready to go.

Last tap I needed (14mx1.5 IIRC) I couldn't find in a kit anywhere. MSC type places were ~$70+. Found one on fleabay for about $15!
If any of you have F-word trucks with the "triton" v-8, just wait to see the tools you'll need when you go to change the spark plugs
