reset idle after TB install
Just installed a bored stock TB (52mm) on my 93 LT1 now can't get the motor to idle below 1000rpm? Checked volts at TPsensor is .5 like it's supposed to be. Unhooked battery for 30sec and then drove around town, still refuses to idle below 1000. Also pinched off all vacuum lines and that made no difference (to check for vacuum leak) any suggestions? Thanks

No I didn't, I just figured out from the FSM that the IAC and the TPS are different, I thought originally they were the same. Is the IAC the valve on the bottom of the TB, on the lower part that you can remove? I think now that is it. The FSM says; "Reset IAC valve pintle position; A. Depress accelerator pedal slightly. (does that mean with motor off or on?) B.Start (start motor?) and release accelerator pedal (do they mean "start" pressing the pedal and then release?), run engine for 5 seconds. C. Turn ignition "OFF" for ten seconds. D.Restart engine and check for proper idle operation?
