My 93 convertible door locks work fine using the switches inside on the doors. My FOBs will only unlock the passenger door and won't lock or unlock the driver's door. I've replaced the batteries in both FOBs and no change. Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions?
When the PKE system is inactive the FOB will only open the pass/door.
You turn the system "on", by holding the door button down until the locks cycle, you can check if it's "on" by inserting the key in the ignition to the "on" position & checking in the lower left corner of the info center for Passive Keyless entry. If you don't see the PKE lite up, recycle the door locks.
Turn the ignition to the "off" position, do not remove the key.
Then using the door button you can select which doors will unlock passively.
May take a little experimenting, but you'll get it.
