2 Head lights close 1 will not open ...?

2 Head lights close 1 will not open ...?
My left side head light will not open but it will close. I open it manually. I checked the grounds and there clean and good. Check relays good. Any other Ideas ...?
I have looked in the forum for similar problems found nothing ....?

Inside the door motor are two contacts that are opened when the door gets to the end of its travel and then the contact for that direction opens shutting off the motor. The opposite contacts are closed and allow the motor to run in the opposite direction when power is applied by the correct relay. I suspect that the door opening contacts are not making connection which doesn't allow the headlight door to open. Before you take the motor out and take it apart to see if this is true, first unplug the headlight motor and apply 12v to the contacts which run the door to the open position. If it won't open with 12v on it, then the trouble is inside the motor.
