Is anyone aware of where I can find one for a 1996. I've read some horror stories on the remans, so if I can replace the rubber myself, I will, but can't seem to find the kit for sale. Thanks in advance.
You will probably have to find one that is already rebuilt, unless you buy a new one from the dealer which would probably be pretty expensive. I don't think anyone makes a kit to rebuild it yourself.
And it's pretty common for the plastic housing to crack, which happened to mine. If that's the case, the internals wouldn't do you any good. Summit sells a rebuilt one for a resonable price.

My booster started to hiss when the brakes were applied and got progressively worse until there was no boost assist at all. This makes me think the diaphram started tearing. I know the rebuild kit existed a few years back, but I can't find it anymore. Guess I'm SOL.
