Well it's not starting again. Checked with a timing light and it has NO spark while cranking. Anyone have any ideas?

When you have no spark, check power supply going into dist.

Ok ckecked power at the "BAT" connection both when cranking and not. I have power there. The question I have is on the 3 wire connector it has a "B+" and a red wire when should it be hot?

Looks like B+ should be hot. It looks like its tied into batt.

Which one is the red wire?

"B+" is red on the 3 wire connector and the "BAT" wire is red

Im totally confused now. If this post sounds stupid, Im going to blame it on a senior moment.

What if you run a hot wire from batt to dist. Undo the factory batt wire in to dist and run hot lead there. ?

Been replying to to many threads

What about that coil test in the FSM pic?

Not a stupid post at all. It's a post that goes right with how this car is making me feel. lol

I checked the wire from the batt to the "BAT" terminal and it checked OK. In the morning I will check the coil using the FSM pic IF it still doesn't start.

That has been part of the issue with trying to fix it is that it won't stay broke

Well I followed the diagram and did all of the test. Everything checks out. I had a couple of local guys say check the ingnition switch. What do you think? If that could be it how do you test it?
