Ripped a hole in my headers, did I mention streets in Birmingham are THE WORST I have ever driven on!!!!!
Feel better now, now for the questions.
TPIS cannot get them for several weeks and I do not like their design.
I cannot get ahold of anybody at Melrose and Hedman Elites are a 2 week wait.
I can get Hookers now, but I have know idea how they would fit on a LT1, the Hedman's fit ok and am wondering does anybody have a set on a LT1 and my car has the stock exhaust w/hi flow bullit cats.
Now, does the headers have o2 bung(s) or do I need to get reducers w/bungs?
Is there any fitment issues?
Also, most importantly, is there any problems w/exhaust leaks?
If it is a primary tube that has a hole in it, it can be repaired (unless a great deal of the tube is smashed too. Clean up the hole, cut out a piece of 2" exhaust tubing, bend it to match the contour and weld in place. This will actually reinforce the area and act as a skid plate.
i have hedman elites right now or should I say had, not sure mixing would be a good idea.
Now if EM has a pass. side, I will take you up on that.
If they sold them individually, I would have just gotten a driver's side replacement, lol. Good point on mixing them though, I probably wouldn't either.
