Line to HVAC controls vent position and supplies vac to cruise.
No vac there and you only have default defrost vent position
Check valve maintains vac in line so that vent position doesn't change when engine vac drops ( accel )

Sammy, I just did this exact same thing when I put in my 383..You can take the vacuam line that goes to the left side of the egr solinoid and eliminate it, just leave the one that goes into the bottom of the throttle body( the one marked fitting). Also the line that goes from the solinoid to the egr valve can be eliminated. If you have the headers with the air pump hook ups you can just buy caps to block off the tubes. I also bought block off plates from TPIS to cover the 2 egr holes on the intake manifold , the one on the back where the crossover pipe connected and the one where the egr valve screwed to the manifold. Im not sure if I needed to put a plate on these 2 but it makes it look better..After I finished rerouting everything I checked my vacuam pressure and it was at 17 psi which is normal..WW

Sammy, In the picture below eliminate everything in red. Run the vacuam line from the fuel pressure reg directly into the plenum like shown..WW

Thanks i was totally forgetting about the one that goes into the bottom of the TB !
my headers doesnt use the air tubes and i already put a delete plate on the egr port
plus ...the crossover pipe was already off (its an accel base) ..i will check my solenoid lines today, thanks !!!!!!

Sammy,
I would suggest at some point having the egr taken out of your chip.. When you eliminate the egr from your car, tempertures in the combustion chambers go way up and can cause predetonation or pinging.By having the egr eliminated from your chip the ECM will not call for the egr to operate and the temps in your combustion chambers will remain normal.I don't know if you have had a chip done for your car yet but with all the mods you have done its probably a very good idea...Also check the picture above again, I added something....WW

With all the mods you have done on your car you will see a big difference when you have a custom tune done.. A tune will really wake your car up, plus better gas mileage......WW
