Default Fastener delimma (Did I forget something?)

Look at the pic below for reference...

After pulling my old motor and getting rid of it, I've installed a new one. I bought all new fasteners for the shortblock and heads. I reused most other fasteners except new ones for the accessory brackets. I dumped my AIR pump/bracket and installed an AIR delete kit.

These are the bolts I've have left over. Does it make sense I'd have these? Because the 8 bolts are 2", they seem too short for accessories brackets (since my replacement bolts were 2.25").

I installed 8 unique bolts in the DMF and the pressure plate. All of the bell-housing bolts are accounted for too -- including lower left stud/bolt.

I can't remember what these came out of but don't THINK I need them. This post is a last-ditch double-check in case someone else has an idea.

Oh yeah, transmission bolts are also accounted for.

I was going to say intake bolts. Have to be one or the other. Exhaust bolts tend to be rusty though.

The 3 on top have the double nuts for the accesory brackets on the exhaust manifold (A/C, alternator and dipstick),,and some of the others are probably from the air pump bracket that you eliminated or are the rest of the exhaust bolts..WW

Duh,,,Exhaust manifold!!! Thanks!

Stock manifold bolts are 2". Beside the water pump, it's the only thing I really didn't address above.

I didn't think they were accessory related because those weren't black oxide.

Yeah thats what I figured too. After the new headers and header bolts these would be left over. Its a Chevy tho, it'll run with some missing

My guess is intake bolts....hence the rust on one. Like the OP said, double nutted for accessory brackets.

I was going to say alternator accessory bracket, & water pump have these types of bolts as well.

No more guesses are necessary. I determined they were exh manifold bolts.
