89 head light prob
This sounds crazy but every time I turn the head lights on they both turn over and turn on but the driver side 1 completes the full revolution and then keeps trying to turn making a jerking motion for about 7 sec then it stops. It does the EXACT same thing when you turn off the lights - turns full revolution and then keeps trying to turn jerking and then 6 to 7 secs later it stops. Anyone come across this strange 1?

Here is the fix. It worked for me and I had the same problem.
I only had to install the Delrin bushings and did not need the gear.
