Default Black Cube on Wiring Harness
I just replaced the opti distributor on my 94 coupe and noticed a black cube about and inch or so taped in the wiring harness. Anyone know what this is and what it does?

Sounds like the tach filter.

My tach is jumping around at times especially at idle. The engine does not seem to match what the tach is doing. The engine seems to be running fine. Do I need to pull all the wire back to replace this or cut it out and splice in a new one? Where can I ge a new one?
