novice question..just don't know
hello everyone,
I'am having trouble determining what the problem with my '93 is.here is what i've got...the car starts fine and runs with the slightest problem until she gets to normal operation temp.(around 180-185)then the tach jumps around and she dies...will not restart until the temp cools down ..then will restart with the same reaction.it seems as soon as she leaves closed loop mode she's done!Is there a way to test my ECM and prom?is it just another opti-crap case am getting code 16 when checked .
please help..I'm stumped and miss my vette terribly!

Sounds like a ECM problem. Kinda weird, get some sort of scanning software and run that on it. It may give you a better idea. Wish you luck.
