Re: GS brakes ? (Eduardo L98 1991)
If you have the base 12" brakes, you need the caliper, rotor along with the bracket and bolts
If you have 13" J55 brakes, you need just the caliper and you can use your existing rotor or get another set.

Re: GS brakes ? (Eduardo L98 1991)
If you have the option code J55 under your console lid you have the 13" brakes. Or if you see Z51 under there you have the 13" as well. Otherwise you have the 12" setup.

If you don't already have 13s, aren't lines needed as well. Just replace the rubber lines from the chassis to the caliper.

Re: GS brakes ? (Eduardo L98 1991)
Do the brackets are the same as the caliper basket.
If I have this.
rotors
calipers
baskets
bolts
new brake lines
new pad
caliper rebuilt
What other part I will need ?
I attach a basket picture if is the same as braket please let me know to buy this.
Thanks and regards
Eduardo

Don't forget 17" wheels! They won't fit with 16" wheels! I assume your 91 has 17" wheels (duh)

Re: GS brakes ? (Eduardo L98 1991)
Ok Eduardo here is what you're going to need since you do not have 13" brakes stock. This is just for mounting hardware as you know you have to have the caliper and rotor:
Amount Part number and name
1 10181207 Caliper Bracket
1 10181208 Caliper Bracket
2 10140666 Pin to hold caliper to bracket
2 10132842 Retainer
4 10139097 Hose Gasket
4 14084051 Bolts to hold bracket to spindle

Re: GS brakes ? (Eduardo L98 1991)
The caliper in that picture looks to be a GS caliper, so yes it would be the correct bracket. But I am not 100% certain with out a part number.

not quite... that is the mount for the caliper to the bracket.
the parts are not that expensive... really... a couple hundred US$ for the brackets and rotors. also, about US$120 or so for the stainless lines.
I did this upgrade last fall. a real easy upgrade. no muss, no fuss.

I guess GM has their parts description wrong then. My bad
