I'm considering putting a P600B procharger in my 93 lt1. Is there anything else i need besides Injectors and a boost fuel pump to run the car to potential at 8 psi?
(*I hear that 30 lbs/hr injectors are not enough to to support the 8 pounds of boost. However people say the stock ECU can't handle anything higher even with a tune.)
What kind of fuel pump do i need. Is a boost fuel pump neccesary for only 8 pounds of boost??
Can anyone tell me of supercharher or better yet turbo kit (i can't fimd a turbo kit that fits my car without custom work) that comes with everything i need to make it work, of course i dont mean injectors and a feul pump(s) but with elbows and tubing etc.?
Let me give you some advice after installing a P600B in my L98. The cost of the kit is only about half of what you need to spend to make it run right. So my advice, is don't do it Just spend the $ you have budgeted on proven engine internal upgrades. It will be cheaper and run better in the long run.
The old adage "There is no replacement for displacement" still rings true today.
