I installed the First Injections system and it came with a plug for the EGR. I pluged it and it runs just fine without and egr.

AIR ;
you just remove everything and plug the AIR headers on the exh manifolds.
You need the pump eliminator shown if you wish to remove pump altogether
Some just break the internal vanes out and leave it as a big idler pulley

EGR ;
if your EGR valve is good and not leaking you can just remove the vac line from the EGR solenoid so it won't operate.Saves having to dismantle intake to remove valve and install block off plate.The block off plate for rear of intake shown above is more for cosmetics than anything because if EGR valve is sealing; nothing can flow through that port.
Obviously you need to seal the flange on the exh manifold if you remove the crossover pipe.
