I think it means the ecm thinks it has detected a fault with the Optispark system mounted at the front of your engine and driven by the camshaft.
I presume the system generates an electrical pulse every time the optical sensor gets a light signal as the camshaft rotates. High pulse could mean that the electrical circuit generating the pulse is generating too high a voltage.
