Default cats poping gas!!!

Hello there..

I a have a situation with my LT1 94 vette. I start the car and it hesites and cranks on... but when i put it on drive, its starts to run rough and sounds like it only has 7 cyl. I tough it could be my injectors going bad. I have one injector cable that one of the cables on a pair, went bad and I had to cut it and splice it again, could this be the problem or are maybe I just have a bad injector.

I tried to test them the way that THE INJECTOR CONNECTION mentioned but my tester only has ohms up to 1000h not 2000h like they said , All injectors checked out at 13 exempt 2 of them that checked out 13 and a second later goes down to 12.. Please help.... I already changed all the spark plugs and it still runs rough.

thanks for anything that you guys can trow my way.

When the injector resistance goes down while you hold the tester on the contacts, all you are doing is heating up the coil in the injector and the wire in the injector coil drops a ohm or two.
Nothing to worry about.
Your tester has ohm positions of 1, 10, 100, 1000. That means that each scale reads whatever is on the face of the meter X 1, or 10, or 100, or 1000.
Say you're on the 10 ohm position and your meter reads 12. That's 12X10. that equals 120 ohms.
so if you are on the 1 ohm, and it reads 12, it's 12, but on the 1000 scale, your meter needle wouldn't hardle move.
same diff if digital.

Did the problem start RIGHT after fixing the injector harness? Are you sure your injectors are plugged in correctly (and to the correct cylinder)?

IIRC, LT1s are sequential fire.

ok.
I would like to make correction on my last post... I double checked my FLUKE T5-600 and it seems to me like its too industrial to test injectors... it would only set at 1k , but the injctor conection said to test at 2k , so Am i missing something here?

Please advice and correct me if am doing something wrong . I tested at 1k and it gave me 13 and 12 in all injectors... HELP!!!

12 and 13 is not bad. is there a 1 OHM scale. What you are looking for is one or two that don't read like the rest.
That doesn't mean they are good when the engine is warmed up. get it up to 200 degrees, and check them then.
