My car fits into Group III Modified (ME). According to the rule book I have to have a scattersheild on the bellhousing. Is this a generic chevy part? Something that I can order from PAW or Summit (I dont have my catalogs with me currently or I would check).
One last thing, I currently have a High speed Liscense, I got it almost 3 years ago (1999 NCCC convention) and according to the new rulebook they only last for 3 years, but mine does show a issue or expiration date on it. How do I (or tech) know when its no longer good? On my current liscense it also lists Group III certified, but I dont see anything for that in the new rule book. Did they do away with that certification?
The high speed license (without an expiration date) is good till Jan 1, 2003. To get another license after that date (and the next one will have an expiration date), you have to meet the qualifications, ie proof of ten low speed autox's or a driving school within the last year.
