Cold idle surge. +
Hi all
This is what i have done or had done.
Had done.
Rebuilt motor , new cam installed (told close to stock) roller rockers as well.
The car seemed slugish and surged when cold (idle)? Also seemed to run out of HP at high RPM's. And changed gear's hard and at odd times (automatic).
Since then i have installed a Larger throttle body, new TPS (set correct). new Fuel pump.
Damn thing is driving me crazy. Fuel pressure is correct as well. No codes are present.
Where do you suggest i go from here?

Did you get the tune adjusted? Surging is usually a vacuum leak. Does it stop surging after it warms up? A data log would be a big help.

You'll most likely need to get the PCM adjusted for your mods. Keep in mind a tune will help it performance wise but the car has to be mechanically correct for it to work it's best. This guy can probably help you out or there are others like PCMforless.

Alright,
Thought i would let you know what the problem was.......
Timing..... It was so far out...... I dont know how that happened.
If the mark was a clock and the timing was to be at 12... mine was at 3. Yikes!!
