Need some help
i found an 84 vette, no motor/trans for real cheap. i have an lt1 out of a later camaro. my question is will i run into any problems dropping the lt1 into the vette? i know the 92-up came with them. i will also use the wiring harness and computer from the camaro. i dont have a trans from the camaro, i assume i can just use a 700r4? just looking to throw this all together for around $2000. total and run it at the drags with nitrous. i figure a low 12 or high 11 sec car for $2000.

From what I have heard the rear ends in these are not very strong as the D44 was not available until 1985. Seems I have read that they start to grenade after you apply 400 hp+ and the resulting torque to them.
