Hi All,
My instrument cluster is scrambled. Initially, I found the 5 amp fuse to be bad and replaced it. That worked for a moment and then, the panel scrambled, blinking on and off intermittently, and eventually just quit working. Checked fuse again and it was fine--replaced it just in case but no luck. I've taken the dash panel apart to check connections, looks okay, but I have not removed the cluster to investigate further. Any help would be appreciated, as I have no idea where to go from here.
Thanks.
Remove the connectors to the cluster and check them to be sure they are in good condition, no loose wires, etc. Reconnect it and see what happens. Sometimes just disconnecting and reconnecting will correct a dirty or bad connection. If that doesn't work, its back to the drawing board. A bad ground is what I would look for first.
