Permanent Fuel Pressure Gauge - Useful Mod
I don't even trust the electric senders to not leak, as I've replaced many electric oil pressure senders because of leakage, and I'd expect their construction to be similar to an electric sender for a FP gauge.
If you're trying to troubleshoot a problem, temporarily tape a mechanical gauge to the windshield, as has been suggested here already. For most of us, that's all we'll ever really need. It really isn't necessary to monitor FP at all times on a street-driven car.
Stay safe, y'all. Engine bay fires are ugly.

You use the same rail adapter to mount the 1/8"NPT sender unit for the elec gauge , then run a wire inside to gauge located where ever you want.

thanks for answering the question about the schrader valve. Never knew what the differance was. Before I installed the gauge everyone around here wanted to sell me a tire schrader valve. Figured there was a differance but wasn't sure.
I'm liking the idea of a electronic gauge inside the cockpit... maybe be a winter project....

Cap for Schrader valve: ECKLERS; they sell lots of low-demand parts. You can hit Mid-America and CorvetteCentral too.
