A/C compresor Braket...?
Ok so the bracket that hold the a/c compressor broke.
It literally cracked.
Found 1 on Craig s list my Vette its an 84 the guy tells me his is a 85. I get home work on it and its a complete different bracket.
Does anyone now if they changed or I just got robbed....?

everything on an 84 is all by itself except for outside body parts and most of the interior.
fuel injection is different, including computer,
Wiring harnesses are different,
hood is different, as well as air filter,
everything bolted to the front of the engine is different,
digital dash is different, black dash panels have a different finish,
Digital dash is angled different
exhaust is different,
fuel pump is different,
overdrive is different,
springs are different,
That's all I can think of right now.
But just remember, the corvette is like any other car that has a long manufacturing run, it changes with every year.
Some things are more noticeable than others.
You have been warned, buy stuff that is 84 only, and keep those parts locked up.
Sooner or later, there will be no more 84 spares, and if you didn't get yours, you will pay big time, or fix your car with parts form ANY car just to get it running.
or buy parts cars to keep yours running.
