I am having an issue with my driver side blinker. It blinks extremely slow (15 seconds in between blinks, sometimes longer). Very rarely, usually when the car is first started, it will blink normally. I know the previous owner has messed with the wiring going to the front blinker housing. I'm not sure if it is wired incorrectly but I compared it to the passenger side, which is operating normally, and it seems right. I'm curious to see if a members can point me in the right direction. Is it possibly the relay? blinker housing? switch in the dash? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You could check the bulb sockets for corrosion, etc. that might not allow an adequate ground. Do the bulbs light up equally as bright on both sides (front and rear)?
Are all of the bulbs lighting up? A burned out bulb or two, bad grounds, loose connection, faulty wiring, etc can cause your symptoms . Check the passenger's side IOT see what lights up and look for the difference with the driver's side.

The flasher works on current, more current faster flash rate, low current, no or slow flash rate. You have to find out which left side lamps aren't working and then why they aren't working. The most common reason for slow or no flashing is a burned out lamp. Remove the lamps and check it with an ohmeter, ohmeters see a lot better than you do.
