88 Dash cap pics
I have been trying to find some decent pics of dash caps installed on early C4s with no luck. Can you guys with dash caps take some inistalled pics or point me to threads of them. Thanks

I'd be interested in seeing some pics also, I just hate to spend $400. for a new top. The previous owner put a cap on my '87 El Camino and it looks like ****. JMO. I'd also like to see pics of the dash mats if anyone uses one. However, my gut feeling is that I had better start saving $400.

I have one, its great for the price, mine did start to crack after two years but i think that is due to how we had to install it because of how bad my dashpad was. here is the best pic i have.

mine was really bad, the new cover would not sit even on top of it so we had to cut the material. Also, the area where you screw in the front had a chunk missing, this probably led to the pad moving and cracking. The cover is definitely an improvement over the cracked dash pad, but its not perfect and is noticeable if you look around the edges. its great for a driver but if you are after a show look i would invest the money for a new dash pad.
