I recently got a new after market clutch in my 95 coupe. I put 500 miles on it, 200 of which were just yesterday. went to take the car to work this morning and the clutch petal felt very light, the car wouldn't go into gear, pumped the clutch petal a few times but it did not help. I was already running late for work so left without beginning to look at it at all. I figure the is a hydraulic leak somewhere but im still new with mechanic work so I wanted to see what my first steps will be when i get home to the car today. Thanks in advance to all

Wait...I just replied to your other post saying it drives fine, which was posted later than this one. Which is it?

sorry about the mix up, that was a post that I started yesterday morning, thought that i would still put it up assuming I fix this problem. Maybe its best for me to remove my other post until the problem i am having is resolved. sorry for the confusion.
Start simple and check the level of the clutch fluid. Sounds like its empty. If its full and pumping it gets no pressure you may have to look further into a possible mechanical problem after the slave cylinder. If you had a shop do the work, just take it back and make them fix it, free of charge.
