Need help with RPM limiter
Does anyone know where i can get a chip for my 92 to increase the RPM limit. I don't need any fancy tuning, i just want a stock chip with a higher RPM limit. Any idea's? :confused:

i hope you know that stock tuning is limiting your power with that 383, but your MSD ignition box has a built in limiter that you can adjust, if you got the 6AL anyway

The problem is that an MSD won't help. It's rev limiter only does anything if it hits before your stock limiter. The stock limiter drops fuel and thats a VERY bad thing in a boosted application.
I would talk to Ed Wright. You can get his e-mail address from http://www.fastchip.com He can burn you a custom chip that should help your overall performance and he can set the rev limiter to whatever you would like.

Thanks very much with your help guys, i will try get hold of Ed. Tuning is not a problem, because i have a computer program where i can control the fuel and the ignition, my problem is that i can't get past the stock limiter. by the way my MSD has a 7000rpm chip in it so that's not a problem :yesnod:
