Default Engine temp sensor took one for the team during header install...

But I think I can still use it. The sensor got clipped when the stock manifold came out but the connector clip still attaches firmly. What do we think, change it now because it's easy to get at with everything out or clip it back in like it is and go for it?? I think this thing is about 40 bucks, right?

Just look up at the price at autozone.com, I think they run about 11.00 bucks.

It may work...however, I'd replace it while it was easily accessible.

I broke mine in 2005 during the header install

Go ahead and change it out. They're inexpensive enough at NAPA, AutoZone, Carquest, etc... I broke mine accidentally the first time I swapped out my serpentine belt.
