I used what looks like the open end head of a regular wrench but it has a hole in it to use a 3/8" extention to turn it with a ratchet..I also have a ratchet wrench with a swivel head that would probably work, or a stubby wrench with a flex head might work....WW

Here is a link to the socket wrench set I used, its called a (crowfoot wrench).. WW

Good one! I believe they call it a crows foot wrench. On the 87', I had to buy an 'Offset' wrench and that worked really well. Unplug the sensor and run the wire through the closed box end and it worked great. A deep socket with a swivel might work too, from underneath or on top, depending on what angle you're looking at.

I just disconnect the wire and slide the box wrench over it.

7/8" stubby is what I use. Make sure you disconnect the battery, as it is very easy to "touch" the starter Bat terminal with the end of the stubby by accident.... ask me how I know !!!!

Harbor freight or Sears carries the stubs !!

I used one similar to that one this past weekend when I swapped out the 02 sensor of my wife's DD.
