OK gang heres the deal I put in HID replacement bulbs in my 87' well when I put the first one in and tried it out man was that the way to go since we have a black out kit on the front. Well when I got the other one in and tried it out later that night unknowing that when i turned them on and was trying them out I had blown the fuse and lost all my running lights untill I got back to the shop. No big deal i just figured that May have shorted something out. Put a new 10amp fuse in and flipped the switch it popped IMMEDIATELLY. What do you think ? Can I put a little bit bigger fuse (15amp) and not worry? The lights where real simple to plug and play and have checked for shorts and can not find any.
i had the same thing happen to me a few years ago, but i just took them out. it wasn't worth the potential problems. they DID look cool though for few minutes before they blew everything
