MSD Cap & Rotor interchangeability?

MSD Cap & Rotor interchangeability?
I've got another dead opti distributor, this time a MSD. (Dead sensor) everybody seems happy with GM's stock Opti for dependability.
I've read a couple of places where people say they bought a replacement cap, rotor & seal from MSD. Will the cap & rotor from an MSD actually retrofit a GM stock Opti? Are they interchangeable with the GM parts? I was thinking the MSD cap had an extra cap screw. Do people just leave that hole empty when they use the MSD cap, or are they completely different?
