Yes you can but it will need to be tuned by a chip burned for it or PCM flash depending on year of the ECM.

I think it would run pretty well with the L98 factory tune -- if the correct injector constant is entered.

OTOH, it would likely need extra fuel in the upper rpms. The stock TPI bin actually removes 8% fueling above 3200 rpms when you hit PE. (Because of the roll-off in air supply thru the long tubes I'd guess.) If you use a larger than stock cam, this possiblity goes up.

If you're talking about using it on an LT motor, a different "special/rare" base is needed to even make it compatible with the heads.

First, unless you tune the engine computer, you'll not be happy with the result.

Second, Well what are you putting this on? An L-98 or LT-1?

MORE INFO!!! GOTTA HAVE MORE INFO!!!!!!!

The need for a tune is dependent on other mods. The Super Ram by itself (manifold, plenum, runners and 1,000 CFM throttle body) met California smog requirements on a stock motor. You'll need the tune once you've removed the other flow restrictors (headers, heads) and increased the duration of the cam. Then you can really enjoy the increased performance.

You need to have the chip changed but it was designed to work with the factory parts. You must get a CUSTOM chip.
