Differences in LT1 instrument cluster LCD?

Differences in LT1 instrument cluster LCD?
Can anyone educate me on differences between the LCD instrument cluster displays on LT1 cars?
My car is a 94 model automatic. I purchased an instrument cluster from a fellow forum member to replace mine because I was having issues with some of the LCD bars. It appears as though the LCD portion of this cluster I purchased is different from mine even though they are both from 94 models.
When I plug it in, it does not illuminate properly, but I can tell from what does light up that the Speedo display on this one is at the bottom of the LCD, and on mine it is at the top. So there must be some differences that need dealt with. Can anybody enlighten me here?
