Default TV cable adjustment

I replaced the CFI on my 84 with a Ebrock 1406 and a Performer intake. The orginal tv cable with not reach to the dr side of the carb so I need to replace the tv cable with a longer one. What is the proper way to do this, it looks like there is very little room to work without major disassembly. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

You will most likely need the corrector bracket as well to get correct TV cable movement

I know that I will need the special arm to make the travel correct but the cable still needs to be moved to the dr side and it needs to be longer to do that. So that leads to my question about the best way to replace the orginal cable.

I switched my cfi over to tbi, I remember the tv cable wouldn't reach. I found that a ground cable or something was in the way, on the back head, holding it from coming up more.

Get a TV cable from a TPI car;
sure to fit a carb as TPI TB is at front of engine on drv side

I got the correct lenght cable, I cut a 6x8 inch hole in the pass side floor to access the tv cable instead of dropping the exhaust again. With a Locar bracket and the tv correction arm from Summit it works great. I will glass the floor board piece back in place.
