Default Master Brake and Booster

When replacing the master brake cyclinder ...would it be wise to replace the booster at the same time?? The car is 20 years old with 107,000 miles on it.....thanks!!

I've seen it recommended to replace the booster if the master has been leaking into it.

But 20 years is a long time on a booster. Though, you wouldn't really have any extra work if you waited to replace the booster later on as I was able to just push the master out of the way when I replaced my booster.

Loosing brakes doesn't sound fine to me.

yeah, that is classic MC "about to fail" symptoms

If the Booster is working, then just go with the MC for now.

If you replace the booster, get the '84, due to it having a steel diaphragm

Yay for the lowly '84!!!!
