Default How good is the 4L60E ?

I have a 94 S10 pick up and I have been thinking about maybe putting a V8 (383 with the Stealth Ram) in it but the pickup has the 4L60E and I was wondering how good it is because I may take it to the track sometimes.

I talked to the guy who does my transmission work and he's got one out there surviving over 800 RWHP. They're expensive to get to that level but they can be done.

I put 96000 miles and over 700 1/4 mile runs on mine before I had it redone and that was a stock trans. No shift, no nothing.
I think that saids alot.
