Shift light install help.

Thinking about installing a shift light in my 92. I have 1 question, Where do I hookup the rpm lead? I don't want to take out the dash and understand there is somewhere to hook it up by the firewall under the hood. Any help is appreciated. Kim.

The wire coming put of the tach filter should work. The filter is taped to the engine wiring harness near the passengerside front of the engine. The wire should be white.

You can splice into the same tacho signal wire under the dash before it goes into the cluster connector, saves having to run a extra wire through firewall
